Women Beat Harbor In OT

The Sharks held on to defeat Harbor, but needed overtime to get the job done, 68-65. At the end of regulation St. Francis had the last shot for the win, but couldn't capitalize. In the overtime period, the sharks outscored Harbor 9-6 to seal the victory. Junior Lauren Price led all scoring with a season high 26 points. She was followed by Freshman Sonja Shumake with 20 points. Shumake had her third double-double of the season, pulling in a career high 17 rebounds. Senior Ana Lasich filled out the top three scorers with her season average 17 points. With this win, the Shark’s league record is 3-2 (12-6 overall). The Sharks next travel to San Lorenzo Valley on January 24th. Tip off is at 5:30pm.
