Norton, the son of Irma and Gerald Norton of Watsonville, is a walk-on with the Rebels, where he plays at the defensive line.

“They’re a pretty good fit for me,” Norton said, "and I’ll get to play against Ty Sambrailo.”  Sambrailo, Class of 2010, plays at Colorado State University.

“I just finished spring ball, and I got a little playing time in,” Norton said.  He reports back for summer ball June 4th,  before the official start of the fall season practice on Aug. 6th in Ely, Nevada.
