League-leading Knights Outscore Sharks

The Sharks had the big job of facing Soquel High on Thursday and couldn't topple the league leaders, losing with a final score of 13-2.  The Sharks wanted to be competitive with the strong hitting Knights and there were moments of great play from St. Francis. Sharks lead-off batter and hit leader, Sophomore Toni Vargas, went 2 for 4 and Nina Odegaard, the big-hitting Junior, went 3 for 3 . The Sharks will face off with the MBL leaders Christopher Condors (7-0) on Saturday at home at 1pm.
